“…Fear not, for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name, you are Mine.” — The Book of Isaiah chapter 43 and verse 1
This teaching began with a single question: Do you believe? Not only that Jesus is real, but that He is your Saviour, your Provider, your Healer, your Prince of Peace. Take a moment now, and ask yourself again: is your answer, yes, I believe?
“…Fear not, for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name, you are Mine.” The Book of Isaiah chapter 43 and verse 1
Your redemption came when Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for you, because He loves you. He paid the ultimate price with His life so that you could be free. Jesus redeemed us from sin.
You are called by name. Have no fear, no doubt, that Jesus wants to be your Saviour. Once you believe and accept Him, you are redeemed — cleansed, with your sin, your shame and your past removed.
It does not stop there. Because you now believe that Jesus is your Saviour, and you are redeemed, you have a Saviour in whom you can find healing, provision and peace. All you need to do is believe that He can do it, and have faith that He will.
This short teaching was written in the hope that it has impacted your life — that through it, you have learnt more about the Saviour Jesus, and made the decision to accept Him as Lord and Saviour over your life. May your answer to each question asked have been, yes.
If you have already made the decision to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour, let this be an invitation to rededicate your life to Him today.
If you need more information or have any questions, please find a church in your local area, and speak to a pastor or elder for guidance and direction. Find a church you can attend, so your relationship with Christ can grow and strengthen.
Father God, we come to You today, through Your Son Jesus Christ. Thank You, Jesus, for giving us this opportunity to learn more about You, about salvation. Thank You for the sacrifice You made, so that we could be redeemed. We pray, Jesus, that You would help us understand this short teaching, and let it make an impact in our lives. Help us not to forget what we have learnt here, and to bring it back to remembrance whenever we need our Saviour. We lay ourselves at Your feet, and say, You take control — You lead, direct and guide us. We thank You, God, for all You have done for us, and for everything You are going to do. We give You praise, glory, honour and thanks. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
